The USA U20 WNT Elite Camp

Forty-five players have accepted an invite to participate at the U20 WNT Elite Camp to be held at the Cocoa Expo Center, Florida, Feb 28th - March 2nd. Twenty-three players have experience playing for the U20’s at some level including fourteen of the U19 squad that played in international games against England, Wales and Canada in March 2007.

Most players were selected based on their participation at several regional camps in 2007 or the recommendation of their coaches although twelve players were selected solely on their performance at the U19 Invitational NASC in November.

The U20 WNT Staff is still looking to add five more players to the camp and will be scouting players at the Stanford Invitational Tournament on Saturday January 19th and at the U20 Camp in Fullerton, CA, Sunday January 20th. All U19 and college coaches are encouraged to recommend players to the U20 WNT Program and should contact Head Coach Bryn Chivers at bryn.chivers@gmail.com for more information.

Penn State Camp Feb 22-24th

Penn State is holding a high school clinic in February! It will be the weekend of the 22nd-24th and will cost $100 per player, BUT the MORE people from your team that come the price will go down. For example, if you come alone it will be $100, but if 8 of your friends come it drop to 75! Now I know some of you live really far away, but it will be a great clinic. We have top notch staff and players here and you'll learn a lot. If anyone is interested let me know and I can send you the flyer. Open Tryout Camp for USA U20s in SoCal

The camp is being hosted by SoCal's regional team the Camp Website has all the information and how to register.

An U20 Women's National Team Camp will be conducted in Fullerton, California, by Bryn Chivers, the Head Coach of the USA U20 team. The Camp will be held on Sunday, January 20, 2008. Players who are 15 -20 years old are invited to participate. Players who are 14 years old are permitted to participate if they have played at least one season on a high school team. The camp is open to players born after January 1, 1988.

The cost of the camp is $45 per player, and includes lunch and a camp t-shirt. All participants are required to register by January 12. To register go to http://www.youthrugby.net/2008BrynChiversCamp.htm
